It will depend on the data being collated and who you’re collecting it from. Since joining the MRC in 2014 I’ve managed two of the “UK Health Research Analyses” reports, coordinating with ~146 organisations regarding their health-relevant research awards. For that we were lucky in that the majority of award data being requested was either in the public domain already or was already covered by pre-existing data transfer agreements between major UK funders.
